We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our team in Leeds. 

The role holder will have overall management of Sigmat's marketing function, covering all external facing brand-related collateral, assisting the Board with internal messaging of strategy and providing a key supporting role to the work-winning function. 

Your key responsibilities :  

  • Digital responsibilities 
    • Responsible for maintaining and updating the company website 
    • Manage agency relationship with web developer to improve functionality 
    • Create content and news articles to upload weekly optimising content for SEO
    • Report on website performance - traffic, user behaviour, top content using Google Analytics, SEMRush and HotJar
    • Monitor competitor sites, activity and socials using SEMRush
    • Manage the website live chat 
  • Social media 
    • Responsible for all company social media accounts, primarily LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter
    • Develop and post content regularly on LinkedIn to grow followers and engagement 
    • Monitor impressions, engagement and brand mentions daily 
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure best practice and that the brand guidelines are adhered to when representing the brand on social media 
  • Communications
    • Create and manage communications strategy across digital, print, EDM, case studies, PR and internal company news 
    • Develop quarterly content plan for external communications across multiple platforms
    • Manage external agency relationships to maximise PR exposure 
  • Branding 
    • Responsible for managing the brand integrity across digital and printed collateral 
    • Ensure all external client facing collateral adheres to brand guidelines 
    • Create and manage case studies - content, quotes, imagery suitable for both print and digital 
    • Manage brand integrity across promo items, business cards etc. 
    • Manage asset library including all imagery, rendering, digital assets 
  • Other 
    • Work collaboratively with the Estimating and Business Development teams 
    • Work closely with the HR team on employer branding, events and internal communications  
    • Any other tasks commensurate with this post 

What we are looking for :

  • A marketing/business-related degree is desirable 
  • Experience in the construction industry is desirable 
  • Experience in a similar role is essential 
  • Excellent communication skills in all forms 
  • Experience with the following platforms would be desirable: Umbraco CMS, Google Analytics, SEMRush
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign and Illustrator
  • Ability to juggle a varied workload and prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines
  • Creatively minded and able to think outside of the box
  • A good team player, with excellent relationship building skills 
  • Must be articulate and comfortable dealing with people at all levels 

The salary for this is ranging between £35,000 and £40,000 DOE.
