The role holder will have full responsibility for all recruitment for the business, and will provide effective support to line managers and stakeholders whilst ensuring a positive and engaging experience for candidates.

This is a permanent, full time position.

What the role involves : 

  • Responsibility for attracting talent through a variety of platforms and methods
  • Liaise with hiring managers to understand and anticipate recruitment needs
  • Create advertising content that will engage candidates
  • Work with Marketing to maximise vacancy exposure through social media channels including LinkedIn
  • Manage the relationship with external advertisement partners, ensuring we receive an excellence service within budget
  • CV screening and shortlisting, completing telephone interviews where required
  • Ensure all successful candidates are fully compliant to work
  • Setup and run assessment centres as required
  • Schedule interviews with hiring managers
  • Support managers with interviews and questions
  • Provide a professional recruitment experience to all internal and external applicants
  • Work in conjunction with the HR team and hiring managers to support a smooth onboarding process
  • Provide reporting and analysis on recruitment tracking in line with business needs
  • Benchmark against competitors and similar industries both locally and nationally
  • Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation 
  • Represent the employer brand in a professional and positive manner
  • Any other tasks commensurate with this post

What we are looking for :

  • Previous experience as an internal recruiter is essential
  • Experience in the engineering and manufacturing industry would be highly desirable
  • Ability to source using a number of platforms
  • Ability to communicate at all levels - verbal and written
  • Excellent relationship builder
  • Well organised and flexible
  • Good team building skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Full driving license as travel between offices will be required
