Sigmat secure second project with leading developer Simply UK
Sigmat are excited to announce second project with leading property developer Simply UK for a 68-bedroom extra care facility. The Topsham Road development in Exeter will provide 68 bedrooms across three storeys, lounge areas on each floor, a cinema, a library and an arts & crafts room.
In a move towards carbon neutrality, Simply UK will employ modern methods of construction to reduce waste during construction and benefit from speed of construction and programme accuracy.
Awarded the £1m scheme due to the speed of construction, Sigmat’s Managing Director, Paul Smith, commented, “We are delighted to have been awarded our second scheme with Simply UK. The 13-week programme demonstrates the speed of construction possible when embracing modern methods of construction.”
The Sigmat team will commence on site in June 2022 providing 5000m² external and internal panels, 6 flights of stairs, 12no half landings and a lift shaft.
